Dena GassnerDena Gassner is a Master’s degreed social worker who provides training and consultation to families in navigating transition needs including Social Security, Vocational Rehabilitation and Food Stamps. She also helps families who’s beloveds are attempting to understand and integrate their diagnosis. She is an award-winning advocate, writer and nationally recognized training specialist who seeks to achieve a life of authenticity not by growing out of her diagnosis but by letting it embrace her. Married 20 years, she is also the parent of PK who is a sophomore receiving supports from the Marshall Autism Program and Brooke, a graphics designer and entrepreneur.
